Like any other floor, basic, regular maintenance should be performed on the portable Mondo track surface. Sweeping the surface on a daily basis will minimize dirt build up. High traffic areas may have to be swept more often; however, the entire surface should be swept at least once weekly. Once the mondo running track is laid, the IAAF itself uses an "artificial athlete" armed with sensors that calculate the force imparted on an athlete's feet. Sprinters certainly don't mind testing out the company's Olympic running tracks. |
